Singleton Playschool Committee

Singleton Playschool was set up as a registered charity in 2000 with the aim to provide high quality, affordable early learning for children in the local community. Over the last 20 years we believe we have moved with the times but still adhere to this ethos. 

As a committee-led Playschool we are able to keep our session fees lower than average whilst still employing highly qualified staff and often maintaining an adult to child ratio that is better than the legal minimum. 

The Playschool Committee supports the running of the Playschool, ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment and that the staff and children have everything they need.

We meet regularly to discuss ongoing matters and plan any new activities. Joining the committee is an excellent way of getting involved with your child's early education.

Committee members are elected at the AGM in November, but anyone wishing to join at another time will be very welcome and should email chair@singleton-playschool.co.uk for more information.

We especially need support to come up with ideas and run fundraising events to buy new equipment and resources for the Playschool.
